SCUBA Session II Registration

Yates Field House is now accepting registrants for the Fall Session II SCUBA class. This PADI class is taught by an outside instructional school, Dive Buddies, and includes all the class work and water time needed leading up to certification. The deep water dive is not included in this class. Class size is limited to 8 and the classes fill quickly.  Click here for more information.

Masala Bhangra Workout - Nov 6th

The Masala Bhangra Workout® is an exercise dance routine that modernizes the high-energy folk dance of Bhangra by blending traditional Bhangra dance steps and the exhilaration of Bollywood (Hindi film) moves, seen recently in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire! This unique dance mixes cardiovascular with fun, and is suitable for participants of all ages and fitness levels. It is a certified fitness program up backed up by the fitness boards, and devised by Sarina Jain, the "Jane Fonda of India."  Click here for more information.

Yates Field House is please to announce the arrival of Meghan Dimsa, our new Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellness. Meg received her B.S. degree in Sport Psychology from West Virginia University in 2003 and an M.Ed. in Kinesiology from Bowling Green State University in 2005. She is a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
