Meghan Dimsa
Assistant Director, Fitness & Wellness
Meg received her B.S. degree in Sport Psychology from West Virginia University in 2003 and an M.Ed. in Kinesiology from Bowling Green State University in 2005. She is a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. With a strong educational background in exercise psychology, Meg emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to exercise.
Before joining the team at Georgetown University as the Assistant Director of Yates Field House - Director of Fitness, Meg was the Manager of Fitness and Facilities at the University of Missouri (MizzouRec). During her four years at Mizzou, she managed all areas of fitness including Personal Training, Group Fitness, Preventative Maintenance, equipment purchasing, and fitness staff management.
With a diverse educational and professional background, Meg enjoys all opportunities that enhance her experience and knowledge in the field of health and fitness.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Meg currently resides in Silver Spring MD with her two Siberian Huskies.
